Tafsir Al-Mizan Volume 7

Islam is the final destination of mankind, the perfection of humanity to which is it is driven by nature; it makes no difference whether man recognizes that goal in full detail or not. Definite experiences, obtained from other species, prove that every species is proceeding towards a goal which is relevant to its being; it is driven to its final destination by the system of creation and man is not an exception to this universal rule.
