Nobility in the Qur’an

The nobility that the Qur’an acknowledges is one based on a consciousness of the Divine. Of course, cultivating this virtue is losing its appeal in an increasingly secular and ethically relativistic world. However, in so far as man’s ultimate fate on his spiritual journey is dependent on this quality, the book at hand offers a much needed examination of the topic. Through an analysis of Qur’anic verses as well as traditions from the Infallibles (‘a), the author illustrates the importance of instilling nobility within the human soul and outlines some general principles with regard as to how this can be accomplished.
