The four volumes of Ayatollah Khamenei's Islamic Governance provide the theoretical framework for authentic Islamic governance in the modern era that is deeply rooted in Islamic principles and in what makes us human. Volume Three: The Just Ruler

The Just Ruler begins by delineating the requisite attributes of the Islamic ruler as well as his rights and duties relative to his subjects. Ayatollah Khāmeneī then proceeds to provide an in-depth commentary on Imam Ali'sseminal Epistle to Mālek Ashtar. The volume includes a translation of the Epistle, as well as the Epistle in the original Arabic. This volume provides the principles upon which the practical foundations of governance should be based, as advised by Imam Ali (as) himself; principles of governance which, when actualized, will enable humanity to reach its full potential, irrespective of considerations of faith.
