Spiritual Discourses is a translation of the Persian book Guftär-hä-ye Ma 'nawiy the great Muslim thinker and reformer Äyatulläh Murtadä Mutahhari. •This book is a collection of thirteen lectures delivered by the Äyatulläh on, such various topics as the criteria for humanity, the school of humanity, spiritual freedom, nobility and magnanimity of spirit, worship and prayer; repentance, migration and Jihäd, and belief in the unseen. As all of these lectures are on spiritual- issues, they are gathered in one collection.
