The Shi'a Response

This book aims to address core Shi'i beliefs which have been under scrutiny since the martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad (as). Khalkhali critically reviews sources from both the Sunni and Shi'i schools of thought and offers a commentary on a number of historic events such as Ghadir Khum, the Battle of Karbala and the dispute concerning the land of Fadak.

Backed by original research, this work endeavours to address theoretical and factual disagreements by providing a thorough critical analysis.

Zahra M. Khalkhali is a London-based lecturer, translator and a veteran participant in the interfaith and intra-faith dialogues. She has a BA degree in mathematics and an MA degree in Islamic Studies.
